The Spectrum Bridge (SBI) technology for accessing TV White Spaces is part of a complete spectrum access solution: Universal Spectrum Access (USA). The creation of a proprietary TV White Spaces Database, allowing anyone to locate available White Spaces, not only offers the opportunity to provide much needed access to spectrum, but also introduces a new concept in how spectrum can be allocated and accessed automatically.
Spectrum Bridge created the world’s first proprietary TV White Spaces Database, demonstrating:
- Automatic allocation and access of spectrum
- Dynamic management of the channel plan used by the radios
- Immediate access to locate available White Spaces
- Mapping capability to show spectrum availability to the residence level
- Analysis engine to determine channel availability including contiguous and non-contiguous channels

TV White Spaces Network Partnering
Spectrum Bridge is actively seeking partners for TV White Spaces network deployments highlighting these innovative applications. Spectrum Bridge currently partners with OEM's, System Integrators, and private network operators to showcase the benefits of TV White Space spectrum.
Easily adapting to existing infrastructure, Spectrum Bridge integrates its software application on a white space radio platform to provide broadband connectivity. By showcasing new and innovative applications, Spectrum Bridge and our partners have created momentum within the white space market. Conducted on an experimental basis, these networks demonstrate the effectiveness of the spectrum and the performance of a database controlled architecture called Universal Spectrum Access.
